Chiltern View is located on West Street, a residential road at the foot of the beautiful Chiltern Hills. The home is close to a range of local amenities and within walking distance of Dunstable town centre. We provide respite or long term care for elderly people and those living with dementia.
Chiltern View has its own residents association. They meet on a regular basis to share ideas and influence how the home is run. We know how important it is for people living with dementia, to engage in a range of different ways. Our activities program is designed to allow all residents to contribute as much or as little as they like.
We work with other health care professionals to ensure we are able to support residents throughout their life. This support means that even if a residents care needs increase, we can continue to look after them at home.
In November 2019 Jeanette Sherrell took over as manager at Chiltern View. She has set about making changes with energy and enthusiasm and the results are a happy workforce and thriving residents. During the COVID19 pandemic Jeanette and her staff have behaved impeccably to ensure our residents remain happy and virus free.
The changes at Chiltern View continue apace with our PAMMS score now rated as Good. CQC inspectors are not currently visiting care homes, due to Coronavirus, but we are confident, that on their next visit, we will be awarded a GOOD rating.
