Robin Hood House

Mandy Mead is the registered manager at Robin Hood House. She joined Benslow care homes in 2018. Mandy has been working in care for a number of years and has made a tremendous difference to Robin Hood House in her first year, redecorating a number of bedrooms, installing a new state of the art shower room and updating the communal areas.

Robin Hood House has been awarded dementia accreditation by Hertfordshire county council for providing dementia care over and above the county standard. It is a beautiful 16th century, three storey house set within peaceful scenic grounds, surrounded by beautiful countryside of the National Trust estate of Ashridge. Just a short drive away are the towns of Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead and Dunstable.

The moment you step into Robin Hood House you notice everyones positive and friendly approach. Most of our staff are from the village and have worked with us for a number of years. We have home cooked meals every day, a range of activities available for residents and a fun filled happy approach to every day life.
