Amber Fairbrass is the Registered Manager and has had many years experience in a care having worked in home care and for the Alzheimers society in the past. Amber joined Benslow care homes in 2017, creating a calm and happy atmosphere at Chiltern View. Her popular open door policy means that staff, residents and visitors are always able to pop in for a chat a cuppa.
Chiltern View has been awarded dementia quality mark by Bedfordshire county council for providing dementia care over and above the county standard, it is located on a residential road at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, close to a range of local amenities and in walking distance to Dunstable town centre.

Chiltern View has been awarded ‘ Food First Accreditation ‘. It was one of nine homes in Bedfordshire that achieved this award for providing good quality nutrition using fresh food. Chiltern View has been featured on BBC Look East along with the Food First team in a report about the principles of using real food for nutrition.
We work hard to ensure there is a happy and home from home environment, as well as our 2 cooks we have a number of care staff, manager and deputy manager, maintenance man, activities co-ordinator and administrator. We have regular visits from district nurses, chiropodist, GPs and occupational therapists. This wonderful support means that we can care for your loved one for the rest of their life, even if their needs increase, we will not ask them to leave, allowing you and your family time with them secure in the knowledge they will be able to remain in their home.
Chiltern View has its own residents association who meet on a regular basis with the Manager and Deputy , this has been a very popular forum for residents to share ideas on everything from the range of activities on offer to what we should add to the menu as the seasons change.
